I think he is dumb... I think they are all dumb, but I can't stop watching it.

They never work, they never...eat... its just so fake! They change people that have been on the show for 10+years and never blink and eye, just start calling them the same name.

I have been hooked on DOOL for 14 years now. Since I have to work during the day, I always record it and watch it later. I have done this for years. I started watching it at age 15 with my mom during summer break. This show has a way of sucking you in. Even when they have the most ridiculous storylines, I still keep watching. The good thing about it being recorded is that I can fast forwarding through the boring scenes.
But anyway, I can't stand the new Shawn either. It seems not only did they change his looks, but they've changed his personality along with it. The character has done a complete 180, don't you think? What is up with him sleeping around with someone he hardly knows (a 'former' prostitute, might I add), while he is technically still married and then turn around and tell Belle that she means nothing to him? Belle was right when she told him the Shawn she fell in love with wouldn't say such a thing.
I could go on and on about this show, good and bad, but I won't bore you. It's good to see someone on here that watches too!

"Days Of Our Lives" is still on the air? I know the show was about to cancelled for good by network executives over at NBC,and was saved for another 10 seasons. It just celebrated more than 40 years on the air in 2005. The show premiered in the spring of 1965 and it has been going strong ever since. But as for the characters on the show liked Shawn,I never liked it,all of the characters are replusively dumb or stupid in all aspects. I never watched the show,period. Never had and never will.
By the way,if you think "Days Of Our Lives" is dumb you haven't seen "Passions" neither.
"Passions" is the dumbest soap ever.

Ugh yes! The old Shawn was much cuter, although very young looking. This one sucks with teeth.
I totally understand what you're saying. It's an addiction. I got hooked on it myself for a while, but I've broken it. I can now watch it here and there without getting sucked back in.
I can control it. I CAN! I have to admit that I still find it very irritating at times. I can't seem to watch it with the same dispassion I feel if I happen to catch a peek of any other show.
I wish they'd replace Chelsea. I can't stand Carrie. Her mouth bugs me. As for characters I despise - Mimi tops the list. I wouldn't cry if Chelsea died in a hit and run. Kate. Cut those bangs, woman!
LOL at Hope with her Skeletor face. I forgot about that. Eat a sandwich, girl!

Jason Cook was a real hottie and will be very hard to replace. I think this new Shawn is too whiny and it is really hard to think of him as Shawn. Maybe they'll recast him like they did with belle. The first Belle they hired was no good, but I like Martha Madison. Yes the soaps are dumb, but addicting. Kind of like reality tv shows.

I know. I can't either. I listen to it on the radio at work when I can't go home for lunch. I don't like the new Shawn and I hate Carrie and Hope with her skeletor face. I like Sammy and EJ even though they are the "villains".

I hate the new shawn, he's not cute and has a funny nose. I liked the old shawn better. I don't like when they change the characters.

yes i watch it don't know why either just do. No i do not like the new Shawn he just doesn't have what it takes to play the role. He's to tall and also has way to much eyebrow hair. He also lack the attraction to belle and Mimi that he needs to portray. what are we going to do wish we could get the other one back.

for years I have idea sami and lucas must be at the same time. i want mike to come back decrease back because him and carrie were fantastic at the same time. i'm a bo and desire fan. i'd want to confirm max and abby at the same time(i hate chelsea)and that i omit the different belle. the different belle and shawn were large at the same time.
