Who do you typically write the recommendation letter for college to? Is it the Director of Admissions?

Proper etiquette say to address them as:

To whom it may concern:

You never know who will end up reading the letter. Dean, Assistant, Admissions councilor, etc. Bect to cover your basics. Also aviod using the he she adjectives always refer to the student by their name in the letter.

"Mssrs"
