My personal choice would be the great pyramids. To actually witness their massive size in consideration of the fact that they were built in ages predating modern construction equipment and theory is truly awesome. Add to this that they have withstood years (centuries) of adverse environmental conditions and really still look good for their wear. The Great Pyramids at Giza, for the same reasons as above, because I have been there AND because they are the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that are still around

I have never been all over the world but I agree that the Grand Canyon is a great life experience and I agree - get to see it if you can. Other than non-organic, the human being is the greatest wonder of the world.
