It's not so much a purchase, but I would give 1/2 of my winnings to my mom's best friend who is a nun and runs an orphange in Africa. Most of those kids don't even have shoes. Basic supplies are always needed. A few X-mas' ago, I was lucky and had extra money, so I bought each of the kids gifts and put their names on them. Most of them had never received a X-mas gift before and they were so grateful, they made me a "thank you" poster. It was so sweet. I wish I could send them more than I do.
Anyway that's the first thing I would do, the rest of the money...who knows...

I would first give a share of the money to my family as there the most important people to me then i would probably pay off my parents mortage and buy us all a nice car and myself and Sister our own places outright so there would never be any mortage to pay back i'd also love to open an animal rescue centre or something along those lines for strays too and make it such a large fun environment for all. I would also invest.

Sorry you said first purchase i got a bit carried away lol.... :-)

A ambulance helicopter so that a special person to me could be brought to Ontario an get admitted to a hosiptal in the city that me lives in so that that person would be close to me instead of a few provinces away. That way me could see them.. Of course me would have to purchase this person a doctor who could take care of them. Being this is Canada, me doesn't know if me would be able to ''buy'' the doctors care as our universal health system doesn't really allow that.. But if you has enof $$ me is sure that anything is possible...

A brand new house with a huge living room and kitchen. Since everyone always comes to my house. It seems to be the gathering spot for my whole family, but I like it that way.

most likely a custom built home and then the furnishings for it. I would then get a new car, pay off all debt. Then give a portion to an investor for my children's future and a retirement for myself. With anything left I would help friends, family, and charities.

I would buy a special sewing machine that takes images off the internet and embroiders it onto fabric. I've always wanted one, but the $3,000-$5,000 is too expensive for me. That would be my first purchase.

A house... there's a house that I grew up in that we had to sell when we moved here and I have always wanted to move back and buy the house so I could raise kids in that house.
