Used to like this show and the dialogue.

I am so upset with this show i have totally stopped watching it . I mean c'mon chris & lorelai yuck !!!! I hate rory and logan story line too. This show is sorry since the palladinos left. It wont be on the air much longer i fear without getting these charecters back on track. for god's sake put lorelai back with Luke and get rid of logan.!!! Please !!!! I love the fact that lane is going to have a baby though i think that is cute. Good luck and god bless.

Well the season is still new, it's kind of dragging I agree. I hate Loralei with Chris, yuck, he's sooooo boring! for an older guy Luke is so hot and even though he was a dick to Loralei I loved them together, it was fun to watch. Oh and this whole Logan thing has just got to stop, bring back Jess or another guy whose not a stuffy rich drunkard like Logan. I also bet Luke ends up hooking up with Aprils slu**y mother, I can't stand her, then I'll have to stop watching for sure! Anyway I guess we'll have to keep watching but so far I agree with you, not as good as the previous seasons, but hey, it was bound to happen sometime.

the lorelai/luke rift was not true to the characters and their histories. lorelai blows up, ends her engagement and gets with chris in the space of a couple of hours? the whole chemistry of the show is now off kilter. the dialogue between lorelai and rory is now stilted. granted, rory is now an adult on her own, and as such, has changed. the relationship between mother and daughter has changed just like it would in real life. but, it doesn't make for very good television.

I can understand where you're coming from. I loved season 1-6 and liked season 7 but things did change at the end of season 5 for me. I loved Jess and Loved Logan, I think they were both perfect for her at that point in life. I think it would have been weird for her to be with someone form stars Hollow and be going to Yale, she tried it with Dean and it sucked. I think Logan brought out a different side of Rory, a different prespective of her grandparents world. Like any show that goes on for a while, the writers began to run low on fresh storyline. Still one of the best shows in histroy to me.

I kinda agree I am not liking this seasons episodes. Especially since they are putting Lorelai & Chris together. She belongs with Luke. And I read a spoiler online about them that I did not like. You can go to spoilerfix.com if you want to know what the spoiler is.

i was thinking the same thing.. the chemistry is still there with all the characters ( Sookie is actually my FAV of the fav's..) but there is something weird going on the with dialog - maybe the writters are trying to stir things up - if that's the case then their experiment worked.. because here we are right now chatting about the show .. makes the writters happy .. cuzz their show is in the buzz !

Yeah I like that Chris is back in the show. But I don't like that he and Lor are back together. yep I liked the other ones better. The wit was better with the other writters. I think that the wrighters should have stayed and finished the show.

Yes I agree, doesn't seem to be the same. I must say though, I am kind of sad that they split up Luke and Lorilea(?), they seem to have much more chemistry than Chris and her.

I wouldn't say it is worse, but you can definitely tell there are new writers.
