We interviewed several ladies for the position, one proved to be a standout, thing is she is incredibly gorgeous, single and has a great personality. It may make me struggle in the future, should we hire her anyway?

If you are really intersted in her ok keep her, but be POLITE with her so that your wife's position may not be awkward

Seems You r not confident in the future about ur step. If ur ready to accept ur wife's affair with some other guy(in case) then go on.

interview a few more, tell your wife there is something about her you just don't like, and you don't feel comfortable around her. but you will find a house cleaner, there's tons of them out there, hang in there
