I know they want to sell their products, but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what is normal, like to cook something together then buy, or have other activities etc. Also, what was something that happened at one of yours that made you want to buy more, or not buy. Any stories??!!

I just signed up to be a consultant....

The hostess picks out what kind of food she wants to serve and buys it. You could have a Mexican night with tacos, burritos, etc OR...you could have a dessert party and serve all dessert stuff...OR you could have a pizza party....OR you could have an appetizer party....OR you could have a veggie party....OR you name it - whatever food you would like to serve.

The night of the party, I arrive and show them how to prepare the food using our products. I then cook the food in the products and everyone eats and drinks! Then they place their orders.

You can also have the people at the party use the products themselves and help prepare the food.

You can play games, have trivia quizzes on food, have the guests tell what they like about the products.........a number of things...

The party is what you want it to be

The host get together with the person giving the party and they decide what food they are going to prepare, you use the tools that Pampered Chef, it's fun! My favorite is the taco ring and the black bean salsa dip... it's best to on your first few shows have it with people you know so they don't freak out over the nerves. Good Luck and I love Pampered Chef!

You should plan to demonstrate some products by making drinks and hour'dourves (spelling?). The one I went to , she made margaritas and that certainly loosened up some pocketbooks. It was mexican themed and she basically made a appetizer using pampered chef products, there was a relaxed feeling, not to stuffy and pre-planned. Everyone got to try their hand at some products and there were tons displayed.
