1) Start button/search/For files and folders
2) Assuming all of your music files are MP3, search for "*.mp3" (without the quotation marks, of course.
3) When the search is done, select everything that was turned up. Right click the list, then select, "Properties." Let it run through the selection for a couple of seconds, and it will tell you the size of everything found.

Okay first of all I need to know operating sustem: but for now here you go, this is how I do it:
If they are all in "My Documents"
Then GO the "My Documetnts" Folder
Press Ctrl and F at the same time.
A windiow then should pop up saying:
What do you want to search for?
--> Pictures, Music, and Video
--> Documents (Word processing, spreed sheets, etc.)
--> All Files and Folders
--> Computers or People
(and so on)

Click on Pictures, Music, and Videos.
Now click on Pictures and Photos
And do not fill in the box. just search while in your documents folders.
And any Bitmap images can be converted to smaller size, it is usually recommended because they take up alot of room!
I hoped that helped.
Email me further!

If you have the files in certain folders and so forth then you can select all the files and then Right click once to go to properties and it will list the amout of harddrive space they are taking up. Do this for all the files and you can add up the amounts to get the total.

Go to Start Menu, then My Computer, find the folder that you store all your music in. Hover your cursor over the folder and it will pop up on your screen.

Start / Search and search for all music... then select all mp3s. Will give you a status and a selected amount which will be the amount downloaded :)
