throw lawyers/solicitors, huge amounts of cash, slimey estate agents and meddling in-laws into a situation where you pack up your organised clutter into boxes and end up with dis-organised clutter the other end coupled with the misses/Mr not liking the carpet and making you lay laminate flooring in the bedroom on the first day is bound to stress you out! I moved 2 weeks ago.

It`s awful isn`t it ,you`d think in this day and age something could be done to make it easier ,you can have a survey done and lose your money ,it can all collapse at the last moment ,this is so stressful, the waiting and worry ,it`s a wonder anyone moves at all
my husband wanted to move so I quickly had a new kitchen fitted ,he won`t go for a while yet ,anyhow I hope it all works out well for you and enjoy your new home ,,,

Before buying a home take the time to investigate all aspects of your future purchase ( loans, area, home styles, etc) and before signing a contract educate yourself or make a "backout" clause if something is wrong with the house or your loan.
This will help greatly, take a new home buyers class that is given in your area free of charge. Most lenders will be able to tell you how to find them.

Yes it is stressful. Probably because it is such a big decision and you really don't want to make the wrong one with such a big purchase. Just tell yourself to breath. Good luck
