Fantastic film. Russell Crowe was nominated for an academy award as best actor but lost to Denzel Washington playing a rogue cop in Training Day in a real miscarriage of justice. Maybe the best way to solve this is to have these actors reverse these roles and see who does the better job.

From the heights of notoriety to the depths of depravity, John Forbes Nash, Jr. experienced it all. A mathematical genius, he made an astonishing discovery early in his career and stood on the brink of international acclaim. But the handsome and arrogant Nash soon found himself on a painful and harrowing journey of self-discovery. After many years of struggle, he eventually triumphed over his tragedy, and finally - late in life - received the Nobel Prize.

"A Beautiful Mind" in all of its intelligence was heartbreaking and so moving that the viewer could only watch helplessly as Russell Crowe's character took us to a rivoting place of astounding mystery...only to come back to earth and realize that he was "out of his mind." It was so sad watch brillance succumb to lunacy.

It was a brillant portrayal showing how schizophrenia can affect even the most intelligent. Beautiful movie!

It is without a doubt a fantastic film. One of my family members has the same illness. It helped me understand his illness that much better.

Wonderful film.

i loved "a beautiful mind", it was such a great film.... the only thing that i dislike about it is the fact that you have to really watch it and pay attention and, although its one of my favourites, i have to be in the mood to watch it! otherwise it is fantastic and i think that the story is so sad how someone with such an amazing brain and mind power has had to struggle like Nash did

Your question is hilarious and I don't think you even realize how funny this question is. In the movie John Nash sees things that only HE sees. Therefore he could very well ask EVERYONE around him, "Is that little girl really chasing pigeons OR IS IT JUST ME."

Therefore your unintentionally ingenious question ranks as one of the better questions asked recently on this site.
