My guess would be yes because the Wii does have GC controller ports and Nintendo said that it was FULL backwards compatibility so if they didn't, Nintendo would lie, and Nintendo doesn't lie!

dont know the answer for myself but you may be able to find out at wii.com and a little piece of advice GET IT ANYWAY it is the best system coming out besides the ps3 that is $600 and $60-$100 a game
