have u checked whether it is configured properly?
check control panel...sound & audio devices
set it first and test it...keep the volume up...

1. They might be damaged.
2. The volume knob on the speakers might be turned down or turned off.
3. The volume switch from the computer icon might be muted.

Is the radio on?
If so, then maybe they are plugged into the wrong plug or maybe there is a problem with the speakers.

1) make sure the power to your speakers is on
2)make sure that the sound on your system is not turned low or muted
3) check your sound card to make sure it works
