Would you ever consider writing to a serial killer? I write to numerious killers and have found that most of them are very nice people and I really enjoy talking o them. We never discuss the crimes but everything else is fair game. Check out some of the letters I have recieved from them at: www.Write-A-Murderer.com I have written to Charles Manson, Susan Atkins, John Wayne Gacy, Arthur Shawcross, ect... Some of the worst killers there are. Yet I have never had a bad experience in talking to them. Would you ever consider writing to a killer?

There's nothing wrong with them they're people too. Enjoy friendships just like everyone else. All that happened is they went wrong somewhere along the line.

Okay. I can understand people not wanting to write to serial killlers because they don't want to associate with them because they're bad people or whatever. But all the comments about being afraid of them coming after you is kind of dumb. There's like, a 99% chance that they are NEVER getting out of prison. And about Charles Manson, he was not a serial killer, nor is he dead and he did not eat people. He was a very influential person who people listened to like he was God, which makes him extremely dangerous and he should never be released for that. He did not participate in Tate/LaBianca murders; he just had them carried out by his little sheep.

Only if I decided to write a book, which I have considered, but would not feel right "using" this "murderers" despite what they have done. Although the are henious and scary, they are still somebody's child and I could not stand to be emotionally seduced by a person that might potentially kill my own child.

Why?! There are too many nice, interesting people in the world who haven't butchered innocent people. Those are the people I would prefer talking too. You should try it sometime. You don't have to kill people to be interesting. And, of course you haven't had a bad experience writing to murderers - they are writing to you from jail cells! Not much to worry about there. So, no, I wouldn't write to a serial killer... Killers are lower than scum on my shoe. I wouldn't waste the postage.

Sure that Charles Manson, he may have maimed and tortured, but he played a mighty fine tune on the piano.

Of course not! I am too paranoid and I would think that they might want to escape and slaughter me! Not a nice feeling, don't you think?
