The schedule isn't their fault. They had nothing to do with making it. They're not like a college team plucking cupcakes. They play their division, another division, and whoever else the NFL says. It cracks me up when people whine about "b-b-b-b-but they have a soft schedule". Oh boo-hoo-hoo! If each team made their own schedule, THAT would be something to cry about.
Last Monday showed a team that could do something that many NFL teams can't... watch one major area of their team fail, then have the rest of the team step up and make the plays they needed to win the game (if the Cards make one tackle, and one FG, the Bears are 5-1 now!).
The reason they may seem "overrated" is because they're in the 2nd largest NFL market, they are 6-0 (Colts are too, but they have a soft schedule!) and their defense is stomping mudholes in the opposition. The fact that they have been "down" or just average for so long is something that many have chosen to overlook.
As a REALISTIC fan of football, and a lifelong Bears fan, I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. I don't think they'll go undefeated, but I think they'll make the playoffs. They may break my heart again, but I hope not. It has been 21 years since their last Super Bowl, and I've been VERY patient. They're haveing a great run right now, just like Baltimore did, Pittsburgh did, Indianapolis is...
Overrated.. not their fault. They don't rate themselves. Over-publicized... definitely! The Bears are playing great football right now, so what's the problem? All I ask of whoever says "overrated" is to show me what, how, why, where they are overrated...

Definitely NOT overrated. I think they are for real. Just look at how they have been playing. Every team, especially in the NFL with the close degree of competition, is going to have an off game, or teo, or maybe even lose one or two. That doesn't mean they are not good. Like the saying goes "any team can be beaten on any given Sunday". The Bears are solid and will be a contender. Unfortunately I can't say the same for my Cowboys :-(

If Favre's out (he became out final night), then i'm going to take the Bears each and each of how. Jackson and Rosenfels do exactly no longer do it as a mix. Cutler may be erratic however the Bears protection is the beginning place of the team and that they are extraordinarily first rate.

I think that Monday night game was more overconfidence than being over rated. If they played the cards 9 more times they would beat them 9 more times adn the offense would be alot more productive. All the hype had gone to their heads. That Monday night game was the best thing that could have happened to them because I don't think they will take anyone lightly again.

Overrated team with a soft schedule. I think they will lose in their first game in the playoffs.

Solid D, questionable O, questionable leadership, coaching and experience. I think they will be exposed in the playoffs.
