I love honesty once you know someone has lied it makes you wonder if anything they have ever told you is true

What an academically phrased question! I'm not sure if you mean personally, or generally, but I'll give a bit of both.

According to my old Psych texts (which I only cite because personal experience backs it up) we like people who are similar to ourselves, and who exhibit traits we would like to have. For instance, I'm a writer but I get bogged down in life and my motivation grinds to a halt sometimes. Some of my friends are also writers and one of them keeps churning out books like you wouldn't believe. His enthusiasm motivates me and I enjoy his company because we share interests and personal values (i.e. humour, honesty, etc.).

I dislike persons who are dishonest, who lie and a person who is not comfortable in their own skin. Persons who are true to them self, honest and who are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in those are the kind of people i gravitate towards. I had a friend once who felt she had to lie and be dishonest to look big in life, we are no longer friends.I don't need those people around me and you shouldn't either. Pick persons who can help you to get to higher ground in life.

I really dislike people who are rude to others-or not being polite-not respecting elders- that kind of behavior I have a hard time being friends with people who are like that.

Ignorance.
For ex.: If someone is against abortion and they just say that no matter what, abortion should be illegal even if a woman was raped. I find that ignorant. Only because its very difficult to make decisions that you have never been involved in. Every situation is different.

Ignorance is the most detestable thing in any person.
A willing to learn and understand is very beautiful.
