Heyya folks.
I got this die-hard Ford fan buddy of mine and some where, some place he got this idea that Ford was or is in the process of buying Chevy. Seeing as how Ford is having financial trouble as it is, how can they possibly do this?
I've done a preliminary search on the internet and I haven't found anything. If anyone here can give me evidence of "Ford buying Chevy", I'd appreciate it, as I'm going to send my buddy an e mail to the contrary, and tell him his uneducated hick rump is full of pig excrement.

Chevrolet is a General Motors brand, and I find it extraordinarily unlikely that they would sell it to Ford. This is for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that it would not be a profitable move for either side.

That sounds like a die hard ford fan... Hate to say this to him but wont happen... not ever. Chevy is a larger company than ford is really actually chevy is just a sub corp of GM, just like GMC, Pontiac, GEO and all those other good cars. And if Chevy ever did sell out to ford I would have to shoot myself cause ford has not made a decent car in years. Fords have serious transmission problems.. all of them do. And I refuse to buy dodge or imports. Explain to your friend that his head is in the clouds. And there is no way expecially how GM saved itself with the employee pricing a year or two ago. It was in trouble before that. But pulled out rather well.

haha yeah right. ford will NEVER buy chevy. actually GM tried to buy ford when william durant owned it back in the 20's and 30's. your "die-hard ford fan buddy" is indeed full of pig excrement. Ford cannot Afford buying any company their selling aston martin and land rover because they're in a slump.
