Ok he's a sweet guy. We talk all day long, and then I call him or usually he calls me when i get off of work. Well the other day I had a softball game after work. I called him on my way home to talk, and then he had to go and I was supposed to call him back, and some things came up and I didn't get a chance before my softball game. I don't know what to do. I upset him, but he's too nice of a guy, and a good friend to not try to patch things up with. What should I do, and how do i apologize without saying i'm sorry over and over again. Cause I know he's sick of hearing i'm sorry

You've already apologized for what happened. Something came up and you didn't get the chance to call him. He should be pretty understanding about this situation. Your friend should also keep in mind that you do have a life too. Did you explain to him what happened? If you haven't done that, now is the time to explain why you didn't call him back. Tell him one more time that you're sorry. If all doesn't go well, at least you know what kind of person he really is. I hope this helps. Best of luck.

Just call and say that you want to take him out for a nice meal to show how sorry you are. Then you don't need to say "sorry" again and you can spend some valuable time together talking over a meal.
You may also want to let him know how much you appreciate him and are so grateful that he is in your life.

Jessica, maybe this time around, you'll have to start with something creatively romantic. Initiate a meeting of both you in your "usual place", then give him the best stuff that you know (from your past experience) he won't resist. After all the swinging see and saw might have been over then you can chip in your sincere apology. Sure, he won't hesitate to accept it. Cheers and good luck.

If you've already apologized, the best advice is to give him some time to get over being angry.
