Well, apparently not much - that was before they started making them without copper.

There's nothing special about a 1941 penny, no matter what the mint mark. You might find a collector willing to give you 10 or 15 cents for it, but even that's not too likely. Most Lincoln pennies are realistically only worth one cent.

There were 887,039,100 cents minted in Philadelphia in 1941. You did not mention if it had a mint mark under the date. That is a lot of cents. It is only worth money in high grades of mint state and graded as such, from a grading service. Even then it is less that $30.00. It costs to have it graded ,so there is not much money involved. Keep it as a world war II item, or spend it.

Yeah, but it's probably only worth that...just one cent. I don't think that being from 1941 makes it some kind of special coin or anything. Maybe 200 years from now.

Not really about 2 cents.

1941 - 0.02
1941S - 0.02
1941D - 0.02

one of the pennies from that whole WW2 time frame is worth a whole insane amount of money. It is something like copper was needed for soemthing else, so they used a different material. It isn't steel, there are all kind of those running around.
