When I get on a taxi in Beijing, the meter says "welcome to take Beijing taxi"
My English teacher says this is wrong.Why?

I mean what's wrong with the sentence "Welcome to take Beijing taxi"?

I kindda understand what you guys mean, but if "take a taxi"means get in a taxi, why "Welcome to take Beijing taxi" means take the taxi away?

When I get in a taxi in Beijing, the meter says "Welcome to Beijing taxi". That's how I would word it. I agree with your English teacher take is not used correctly in that sentence.

Is Beijing Taxi the name of the company? Or is it simply describing the location and the vehicle? It could correctly say "welcome to Beijing Taxi" or "welcome to Beijing". The syntax of "welcome to take Beijing taxi" is a fragment of a sentence. If it was preceded by "You are" it would be a sentence. Maybe the meter should say "Thank you for taking Beijing taxi".

It should be in past tense. as: When I GOT on a taxi in Beijing, the meter SAID "welcome to take Beijing taxi"
also, English teacher is not a good phrase unless the teacher's nationality is English, the correct form should be "The teacher of English"

It should read: .
"Welcome to Beijing Taxi"
Or:
"Thank you for taking Beijing Taxi"
Don't mix up your verbs. You could be inviting someone to steal your cab!

2. "Welcome to take Beijing taxi" is grammatically incorrect, in English, but it was probably how it was translated from the Chinese.

After i boarded a taxi in beijing, i noticed that the meter showed, "welcome to take beijing taxi".

its actually=====================================
welcum 2 "hire"
or-----sumthing like that
