Having trouble getting him to return & fix my shower plus various other grievances with the work. Job was done in november last year & have had nothing but problems since. Told me the work was garanteed for a year. Haven't been able to use my shower since 4 July!! Keeps telling me he'll come & fix it but always makes excuses or just doesn't phone!!

Can I use another reputable company to fix it & have them invoice him for the work?
Checked with small claims court & it's not worth my while.

give the old trading standards a ring mate.i work in a bathroom co. and thats a bit of a joke.

Most States have a "Mechanics Claim" for those smaller jobs that don't require an attorney and can go to court without to much trouble.
Unless you have something like this your out of luck. Eat the bill and remember what happen. Good Luck

Aberdeen, NC? if so call the BBB and channel 11 trouble shooter, you can always threaten with a suit that seems to get some contractors off their butt
