It doesn't store it. Stars (of which the Sun is one) are massive balls of energy that burn over many many years.

the sun stores energy from the sun by not storing any energy from itself!!! It is a recycling ball of fire with many chemical reaction but its supply of energy is finite and therfore, ergo,sum it doesnt stor any energy. TRICK QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

er...not sure what you mean but if it is what I think you mean, then the sun is made up of stuff (hydrogen I think) that gained its energy from the big bang and is slowly releasing it.
