When an employers calls you and tells u to come to orientation does that mean u got the job?

At my company orientation is our employees first day of employment. They cannot come to orientation until they have passed a series of pre employment tests. You may want to confirm with your new employer what orientation is all about. Make sure, that if you are "on the clock" they include it as part of your pay

Usually this means you are either hired or you are within the final few. It would seem odd that an employer would orientate you into a company if you were not hired, as this is an investment of time and resources and divulges certain company info that is usually only reserved for employees.

Not necessarily. It may well be that they will assess you prior to hiring you. Remember that you can only say you got the job after the papers are signed.
