Bush has said repeatedly that we have to fight them there so we will not have to fight them here in the US,

So what form of transportation will they use? Cars? Ships? Air planes, swimming maybe?

It's been five years since the last terrorist attack, there has been little or no border security, little or no port security, and our troops are fighting people in mud huts on the other side of the world. Stupid, just plain stupid.

The main terrorist groups have chapters in all of the big western nations, such as the UK, Australia, and America. Getting into the country isn't the difficult part for them, it is carrying out their attacks, especially with security heightened. But as London showed us last year, even on a heightened state of alert, its still impossible to monitor everything. Imagine a young terrorist dresses in a school uniform and carries a bomb in his bag. He puts the bag under a seat in a busy bus, gets off the bus, turns the corner, and activates the bomb. Almost no kind of security can avoid something like that happening, and thats the unfortunate truth of terrorism these days. Governments can only take every (reasonable) measure possible to try and prevent it.

The point you're missing is that without every terrorist (what ones are left) being needed in Iraq to fight us, they would have time and resources to attack us here.

Besides that, I'd support the war in Iraq if the only reason for being there was to punish the terrorist for 9/11. But then again, maybe I'm afflicted with the dreaded 'national pride' disease.

Uh, I hope this wasn't a serious question. In case it was, here's the answer:

1. Planes
2. Trains
3. Automobiles

The preferred way of the 9/11 hijackers was to come here on student visas. Once they were in, they were in. Otherwise, if you don't have a US visa, go to Mexico and walk north. It's very easy, as you've read in the papers.

Ninny they are here already staying low right now because we are searching for them, and the last time I look we basically have an open border to the north with Canada and one to the south with Mexico to me your question does not show much thought.

...Homeland Security has "found" ties between the mexican government & al quaeda...so the same way they are getting in now... over our southern border...
Our borders should have been closed within hours of 9/11 -- aren't American citizens as important as illegal aliens?

Hahahaha...Everyone knows the answer to that if they were at the last how best to spread your liberal hate message meeting.

They will cover themselves in white paint and pretend to be rich white americans, they will then be allowed to do whatever they want.
