When my friend came out and I got those questions, I'd just say "It's really none of my business" and shrug. I had to talk to him and tell him how I was getting grilled from all our friends. He finally (in his own time) said I could answer them truthfully.

No you should not tell him,if he is a Deacon he should have that spirtual connection with God who will :
A. show him the answer and give him confirmation
B. have his child confesss by hook or crook
