Maybe it means that the one thing you want so so badly, you are afraid of getting, You don't know what's gonna happen once you get what you want. Example: My greatest obsession is finding my true love, soulmate, etc...But it's also my greatest fear. What if never find the perfect person, or end up hurt? I'm afraid to put my heart out there, but yet I want to give my heart to someone so badly. I hope that makes sense =)

It appears that most think of an obsession as something they're passionate about. In this case, however, this is not true.
If we reverse the sentence, it may make more sense:
Your greatest fear is your greatest obsession.
People are preoccupied with their biggest fears. It consumes them so much, that it becomes their greatest obsession.

Yeah,the living dead,zombies.I love playing zombie games like Resident Evil.I love those games.Even movies with zombies like Dawn of the Dead,Land of the Dead,Resident Evil,etc.However I get creeped out when I hear weird things and think "Omg,its a monster or something".I have nightmares about zombies,I wake up sweating,its crazy.
