What facts do you need?
He was born 1565 and died 1625.
He was crowned King James of VI of Scotland in 1566 and ascended the the throne of England in 1603, where he was the first monarch to be king of England, Scotland and Wales. He created the Union Jack flag. He survived the famous gun power plot on the 5/11/1605, which we still celebrate today!
He had 6 children. By the end of his reign he was a bit demented, but whilst a young man was highly intelligent and very good at diplomacy. He was a learned theologian, who started the hysteria of the witch hunts throughout England, although near the end of his life realised witchcraft is not the devils work and was a falsity. He was also lazy, vain and was a know it all.
He was the first of a new house (Stuarts) which reigned until the house of Hanover ascended in 1714.
I hope this helps. if you need anything else historically orientated I,ll try to help! Just email me!
