I had my period for 3 months after concieving my daughter, I found out I was pregnant because I went to the doctor thinking I had a bad stomach virus. I was so sick I could not keep water down. I was dehydrated and they had to do an In/Out catheter to get a urine specimen. they started me on IV fluids right away, when the labs came back they started asking me when my last period was. I told them that I had had one 2 weeks prior to that day. They did an internal sonogram and found my lil peanut growing in there, and determined I was 13 weeks pregnant. What a way to find that you are expecting huh!!
