I *love* the Harry Potter movies!
I have the 2 disc versions of all four DVDs, so my family and I can watch the movies anytime, plus all the "extras" like interviews with the cast and crew and the deleted scenes. We love the books too, which are better, but it is wonderful to be able to watch the movies and see the places and characters. It is a bit disappointing when stuff gets changed or left out, but they are still a lot of fun. Oh, and I agree with Jack -- I really don't like the new Dumbledore either. Michael Gambon isn't representing the character properly, which is quite annoying. But, I think that they cast the other characters really well, especially Snape, McGonagall, Hagrid, Lucius Malfoy, and the original Dumbledore (Richard Harris). I can hardly wait for July 13 to see Order of the Phoenix! The Twins revolt and the fight at the Ministry are going to be fantastic!

They are on 2 special phases, the films cant comply with the books precisely in any other case they might be 6 hours lengthy each and every. And with a purpose to make the film make feel a few matters from the plot have got to be transformed. Otherwise the alterations to the plot might difference the entire tale. And the dobby factor, it is gonna price far more cash to have got to have a laptop generated apartment elf for whatever as realistic as handing harry gillyweed as apposed to having neville do it. So I'm certain the film corporation wishes to save cash. So if you are going to examine the 2 (books and films) the books are larger since there are extra element to unique matters and extra movement, BUT should you feel of them on special phrases the films are freakin remarkable additionally.

I am glad too see that so many people out there agree with me. I think all of the movies are good, even though they had to cut alot out from the books, which are much better. The movies would be way too long if they included everything. My favorite movie was #3. My favorite book was #4.

The first three were good; but the fourth was a disaster. They tortured the book. And I'm sorry, I still can't adjust to the new Dumbledore. I hate his accent; and he's always scowling.

Sorry to say it but as much as I want to be I am not. I have fallen asleep in the theater during the climax of one of them and the last one I saw I felt was inappropriate for kids, ghost's trying to see boys naked is not something I want my children to watch
