That can't be the question!! Day of the Dead is November 1-2, the day AFTER Halloween and it is celebrated throughout Latin America and the American border states like Texas and New Mexico.
This sounds like a case of stupid teacher syndrome.
Umm...I know Cinco de Mayo is not the Day of the Dead. Cinco de Mayo is May 5th. Day of the Dead is not JUST celebrated in Mexico. There's a Day of the Dead shrine in my office building right now. I see it from here!!
