I don't think anyone really has a "purpose" in life. I think we would just like to think we do. I don't think nature or the universe really cares what we do.... really. I don't think we are as important as we would like to think we are. I don't think, time or anything really cares. what I do think is important, is that a person does things each day that makes them happy. I think too, that our desires and needs change day by day. When I look back on my life, I find that the most important thing I did, was to have many experiences. Feeling differant things, doing differant things, meeting differant people. Some of my best times were when I was poor and had no money. You feel life at it's rawest form, if that makes sense. Your feelings are more real and alive when you have only yourself. Now, I have a good amount of money, and it cannot compare to when I was young, traveling around, doing differant things and just experiencing life. Just live each day, do the best you can, and I think the rest will follow. I don't think there are any set rules, even though most people like to think there are. If you plan your life out, that is exactly what yo will have, a planned out path. If you want to live life and feel it, then just roll with each day and look for new things. It's only life, and all that ultimately matters or counts is how you feel about it each day. Do what makes you happy, what ever that is. And don't worry. I hope in some little way this helps.

Look within yourself. What do you love more than anything else, yet will not only benefit you but others as well? Follow that thing with breathless abandon and you will have purpose and meaning in your life. Live to be remembered.

Your purpose and your passion are closely related.
What productive activities do you just LOVE to do?
How can you best use these activities to benefit others and ultimately yourself?
When you are making a positive contribution to your world and at the same time are involved in your passion, you have found it.

You have to observe your actions and behavior and feelings.
They will point deeper to what really motivates you.
When you find the desire that causes your behavior and feelings, then you will find the desire that is at the center of you.
i suggest yoga or martial arts as a meditation so you can learn to communicate with your center which drives your life.
