1) inc. is an abbreviation for incorporated, a legal term that means you're legally set up for business
2) India ink is that dark liquid (not washable!) for writing or drawing

incorporated. Like in UK , India and most ex-colonies companies are called "XYZ private limited" or "ABC Public Limited", in the US these are called incorporated. Like Microsoft Inc, to indicate it is a company incorporated under some law.

India Inc. specifically refers to corporate india, and is just a slang phrase
