i have received divided opinions. on whether to make a diy will. or see a solicitor. does the diy will stand up well legally. advice please

diy is fine, and a lot less expensive.

I believe you can fully implement a DIY will. However, you may want to consult with an attorney to be sure the wording and the details are within legal standards. This will be far less expensive than having them draw up the will. There are also websites that can guide you through the different steps.

you can make a will and put it on scatch paper if you want and give it to someone u trust. Thats all u need.
