Go to bed and hour or two before he goes this way you are already in deep sleep and it shouldn't bother you. Keep a set of headphones on your night stand and play meditation a tape or CD load enough to drown his soring. Sorry to say you probably snore to you just don't realize that you do and mostly every man snores so you'd better get used to it is it worth leaving him over and or never being in a relationship b/c of it? You need to have the attitude that his snore puts you to sleep not keeps you awake, that it is peaceful not bothersome, try breathing with him instead of on your own rhythm. You could also take a sleeping aid if you feel you are not getting enough sleep at night and are drowsy during the day... Hope this helps you out, good luck!

Snoring is not a joke, and it's not just a nuisance.
Snoring is often a symptom of a serious disorder called sleep apnea. This can damage your heart and even kill you. You need to go to a sleep clinic without delay - ask your doctor to refer you.
In most cases apnea can be 100% eliminated by the use of a night breathing machine called a CPAP. It might take a night or two to get used to it, but then you will not only not snore AT ALL anymore, you will feel much better during the day, too.
Please do not delay in seeing a sleep specialist - it's very important! Contrary to what many people believe, you do NOT have to be overweight to have sleep apnea.

Is he a heavy set man? My husband is also a snorer but we went on a diet once and he lost a good amount of weight and he quit snoring. If he is heavy maybe work on that. Until then maybe you should sleep in the other room so you can get a good nights sleep. He can't help if he snores and you need your sleep. Good Luck

He should go to the Dr. and get tested for sleep apnea. My step dad has it and my mom had the same problem for years. The strips and sprays don't work very well. But there's a device that does. Its a mask that they wear that's hooked up to this machine. I don't know the exact mechanics of it but I used to be able to hear my dad across the house behind three closed doors and now, its completely quiet!

Arrange that you sleep in separate rooms. It should not stop you from being intimate nor does it in anyway mean estrangement. Just the sleep bit.

Ear plugs! I put one plug in my ear and put the other ear into the pillow. It drowns out the sound enough that I can sleep.
