People need all those things and dignity and privacy - you just lost yours - you used your email address as your screen name - I hope not many people notice or you will be bombarded with spam!

Need, is a leveler, it brings down the arogant, you ever hear any one say "I dont need anybody, I look after number one" this of course is rediculess, every body gets in a position of needing somebody else or some thing made by somebody else. it also provides a way of lifting people up, If one is in need, one is providing an oppertunity for somebody to fullfil that need, whoever fullfils the need it is a blessing on them because of their compassion, people are made in order to lean on each outher so as to keep the human race in order and unity. Adolf hitler wanted to kill off people in need, they were week and useless to the master race. If you look at it as like a spiritual bank account, the more one meets the needs of outhers the more one is blessed. but beware It is not without pitfalls, where there is good their is evil If a person spends ones life helping people, when the time comes that hthey need help and they dont get it. It can cause them to curse the people they have helped, and say to themselves "I will never help anybody again. because nobody helped me." This is like a test, never say this one can undo all the good they have done, because of temporary anger.

an economist has defined 9 human needs that marshall rosenberg uses in his theory of nonviolent communication.

Chilean economist, Manfred Max-Neef is the one who has defined these 9 human needs...
good place to start

so cool because he judges economies by how well they are meeting people's needs, not by how much cash they produce or the gross national product.

We need something in order to achieve or get something else.

I will need some food to continue to live.

I need a lot more food to get fat but if I don't want to get fat I do not need a lot more food but I might want it because it makes me feel good.

I might need more food to feel good but only if nothing else will do.

I don't need to answer this question but I do need to answer a question to get more points. I do want to answr this question.

Lots of people confuse "need" and "want".

"I really need a smoke", is probably not true, whereas I can believe, "I want a smoke" or even, "I need a smoke to calm me down".

The symbol > means more, so "need more" would mean you want/need more of what you are currently getting. However, "need" could then be classed as "greed", as we should all be happy with what we've got - & we should only get more if we can afford it, or feel it's necessary.
