Somebody sits there and writes them to interact with software. Those people are usually very intelligent computer bofs who get caught, get put in prison for a bit, get released and then go on to work for top IT companies earning hundreds of thousands!!!

They don't form on their own! They are created by badly intended or stupid people.
The reason I make a distinction between the two is that a lot of the first widespread viruses were meant as jokes but caused headaches to quite a few people.

They do not usually get caught for writing a virus. There are tons of virues out now. Only time you hear about someone getting caught and really looked for is when there virues they coded makes a good impact on the internet.
The one user said it was scripts said it best.

it's not biological, otherwise McAffee would deal in cough syrup etc.
They are programmes that people write to get on your nerves.
Also, a virus can be just as simple as an email that everyone opens and forwards because it's funny and it eats all your working day laughing at it.
Try looking at Norton or McAffee website for a detailed description.
Don't ram cough sweets in your USB port though, it won't work.

they are written by people with the sole intention of trying to make our lives hell. I spend all day location viruses and eradicating them from my network and file servers.
get a good anti virus program like Mcafee.

Symantec Norton Anti-Virus is a far better product compare to McAfee ...it's incremental virus engine is far superior than to McAfee ...but of course it's down to personal choice. As i've read loads of Forums. AVG is okay! but i stick to Norton! as the IT Professionals prefer.

They don't form. They're written by people with too much time on their hands.

u write them.....using computer scripts.
for example you could write a script to enter the computer and delete files....though it's not as easy as it sounds.

They don't form, people write them and release them deliberately.
