Sorry for the long qs.... I have included my earlier qs at the end of this one
we ended up sleeping together n afterwards when i asked him if he likes me he said yes but he does not want to get into a couple situation....i told him tht i like him n he said he doesn't want to hurt my feelings...god am confused..i like him, i dnt expect him to start loving me but i thought he liked me more than a friend...what is going on...this is going nowhere rite...i'll end up hurting myself :(
any thoughts???

at times i get the feeling he likes me n then he'll do something that is quite the opposite. he tells me that he is very comfortable with me n that he is himself, he also says that he has never been this comfortable with any other girl. we spend a lot of time together
if i have late evenings at work he'll come to pick me n we do a lot of things together. he still talks about other women, or how he wants to meet someone.

sorry to tell you this but it sounds like he doesnt want to be with you.
For guys you can have sex with someone it it just that sex nothing more.
Thats what it sounds like to me. It doesnt want to hurt your feeling by telling you that

Sleeping with him only served to compromise your integrity and give him what he wanted. You lost and he won. Now that he got the "prize", he can move on to another notch in his six-shooter. You seem surprised that after sex he turned lukewarm and announced that he doesn't want a "couple situation". Translated that means, "I'll have sex with you, but I'm not interested in a real relationship." Wake up and smell the testosterone! This is a very familiar story with young women. When will you learn that sex is not love? When will you learn that you have to fall in "like" with someone before you fall in love? When will you learn that men will say anything to get what they want? If you meet someone who is truly interested in you, he will respect you enough NOT to have sex until your relationship is meaningful. Hopefully, this will be an important lesson. Don't compromise your morals or standards for anyone.

find a man that's into you & only you. you've put yourself in a position where he doesnt have to commit or really respect you. right now you're just a girl to pass the time with and have his physical needs taken care of. of course he's going to be nice to you and maybe even spend a little money on you but he really isn't trying to be in relationship with you. if all you want is to be a fill in for now then you have the perfect guy but if you want someone that you can spend the rest of your life with you need to move on.

him telling you that he never felt so comfortable with another lady before doesnt mean that he loves you it can be friendship love, and about the sleeping together part it might be just attraction and i dunno i might be wrong but i think you're right you're just gonna end up hurting yourself...you have all the right to ask him to be honest about his feelings, you also have the right to stop him from getting you into bed and you have the right to go look for a guy who knows what you're worth and will be proud to tell every1 that you two are a couple

He had a really painful breakup??
he has a firm concept of the position you are to occupy in his life.
this far, he is totally unwilling to change that.
it's like he pities you, and feels that servicing you is doing you a favour.
he is happy to be nice to you only as long as he can maintain the barrier.
by going along with it you are allowing it to happen.
you are probably just his experimentation, just some practise before he goes looking for what he wants.

Dont be there for him, just so that he doesnt have to be alone.
Try letting him want you. Make him miss you. The odds are he will come around. Then you ought to respect yourself. He will eventually respect you.
...Or just keep on "hangin' out" then when he finds what it is he is lookin' for, maybe you will be his best "man" ???
