she's confused whether the 2nd dose should be taken orally or vaginally, and she's been told to take 400 mg by her doctor, but we heard that after 8 weeks it should be 800 mg taken vaginally?

which one is right? she already knows all the information about abortion and using mifepristone and misoprostol, and only wanted to know about the misoprostol dosage and route.

please help.

THIS FOR ALL THOSE "HOLIER THAN THOU" PEOPLE. JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK OF URSELVES?
UR SO QUICK TO JUDGE OTHERS, THINKING UR SO RIGHTEOUS? DONT U THINK THIS IS TRAUMATIC ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED, AND IF SHE HAD THE SLIGHTEST CHOICE, SHE WOULD KEEP THE BABY?

if you dont like the question, PLZ DONT ANSWER IT. ur wasting ur time and ours. we dont need u to put ur 2 bits in.

havent u ever had to make a decision that was tearing u apart? i hope u never have to, coz then u'll know how it feels.

dont be so quick to point fingers, coz someday the finger will pointing at you, and that might very well be the finger of God.

thanks so much to all those who are educated, and answered more sensibly.

for those of u who speak about adoption, how come there are so many children still waiting to be adopted? many people we're close to suffer from infertility problems.

if you care so much, r u ready to adopt this child? come forward and sign the papers.

nobody's boasting about being pregnant, we're not proud of it. dont be stupid and grow up.

God I hate this little ***** pro-lifers, they probably voted for bush too. Anyway............definitley tell her to follow the doctors instructions but she may want to call just to double check. A few years back my friend had an abortion this way and everything went up her (well you know). Still definitley call the doc. but for now just follow the instructions.

I am sorry I mainly want to comment on the health risks associated with this therapy. They include heartattack, stroke, and internal bleeding. The traditional surgical route is safer but I hope she has considered all her options I have had an abortion and even after years and 3 children later I can't stop thinking of that child I never gave a chance.

what i really wanna do is just go off on yall about everything but im not going to...cause you cant change someones mind like that anyways...do you realize how hard it is for some of us to have children and then you come on here posting about my freinds nine weeks and aborting?? I'm more shocked and hurt that how either one of yall could sit back and just be like what can i take to get rid of this .....this innocent baby..who deserves to live more then anything...more then anything to live ....do you realize...that some of us get on here everyday thinking maybe this could be the month...maybe this month we will get pregnant...just to realize that the years have went by and still nothing? nothing at all? just one faint negative line.......for you to get on here and broadcast your freind is pregnant....and killing it is sooo disrespect for what might have been.....do you two not see she's been giving a chance to take ...care of a baby...and mold it into someone...to be able to love and cuddle them everynight....to see there first grin, there first tooth...there first fall...and you wanna take that away.....im sorry but maybe you should get some manners and call your doctor...im done..and im sorry i vented...but jesus have a lil respect would you!

Pamela I'm pretty grown up. I dont just think about myself in situations which you are encouraging people to do. Anyone could have an abortion its an overated excuse to get out of doing whats right for everyone else and doing whats " so called right for you" I didnt say this is just for the people trying to conceive she asked for help and thats my answer take it or leave it. If you wanna be grown up make your man wear a god damn rubber or take same birthcontrol!

I think after the 7th week of pregnancy it has to be done vaginally and that the 9th/10th week is the last week you can do it. I'm unsure of this though; your friend should call the clinic that prescribed this to her and ask. Further, there should be information on the packaging.

Is it a pill? I've never heard of taking a pill vaginally. She needs to ask her doctor. Most clinics make you take the medicines there to ensure you take it right so there are no mistakes or law suits.

she should call the doc again to clarify....but I'm almost sure it is 800mg dose vaginally.....tell her to not do anything without checking with the dr first. I don't agree on abortion either but I do believe people have the right to do whatever they think is right for them.

She should ask her doctor.

This is not something you should ask on the internet....people are always wrong and you don't take this kind of advice from people who don't know.

Call the doctor, or do what he said in the first place.

definitely talk to her doctor
and for all of those that are nasty pieces of work... you will be the ones rotting in hell for judging other people when it is not your place... a load of bitches if you don't like it don't answer the question.

I had an abortion and although I don't forget it I will never regret my decision.

oh and cute grow up this is not just for people trying to conceive.
