Having visited the states many times and worked for an american company for over 20 years, I can't see what the fuss is about . They are just like us!!!

It's fun to torment each other. America has a "love/hate" relationship with the UK.

Texans, and "coon asses" can be ignorant at times, but they are amusing in their own way I suppose.

Americans are o.k. but why did you vote for a warmonger like bush, who,s only reason to start the war [present ] was for his and friends business to make more money. He did not even win the vote !!!!. Your hearts are in the right place , just be bloody carefull who you vote in next time, sooner you get bush out the better for the whole planet.

most of the Americans that I have met in Scotland have been arrogant (fatherless sons) which is a pity, I have some great mates in the US, if only you could get rid of you christian fundamentalists, greedy corporations, the right to carry guns, corrupt politicians, and leave the rest of the world alone, I may have a change of mind

The ones I have met, through business or pleasure come across as open, friendly people, who are very easy to talk to.

What I would say is that you appear somewhat unsophisticated compared to a European, for example. Easily pleased and a bit too over enthusiastic. A knowledge of history and geography would not come amiss.
