i am somewhat color blind and severly fashion moron. so please give me an advice. thanks. i have a brown complexion with black hair.

Contrary to popular belief, in order to look good you must not wear what you like, but waht suits you best. Brown girls make HUGE MISTAKES in choosing their colors. Dark colors in clothes, such as purple, is a terrible mistake. Your best colors here, in order
1.- White (silver, platinum)
2.- Canary yellow
3.- Blue turquoise
4.- Green blue, aquamarine
5.- Mexican pink
6.- Orange
7.- Emerald green
8.- King blue
9.- Orange red
10.- Silver gray.
11.- Black, is tho only dark color that you could use.
The colors that go from this to lighter, like cream yellow, are hits too. But avoid dirty pale colors, that don´t add light to your skin. The more the contrast, the more the beauty. Try mixing two of this colors in your clothes, you will be unique.
As for eyes, there you can wear dark colors. And in lips and cheeks and nails try MEDIUM colors of red, pink, coral, orange.

You are not a moron. And being color blind is not a problem! Anyways, so, pick out what YOU like and what YOU like best on you. Make a fashion statement and don't forget, fashion is still a part of being true to yourself. Don't worry about it, I guarantee no one will laugh at you. Just put something on you like and step out the door with a message that says 'Here I am world, take me as I am because I love what I wear'. Seriously, you should love what you wear.

Your not a moron. You just need some help. Look in fashion magazines, or go to your fav store, and pick out what YOU LIKE. Who cares what other people will think? It's not like they run your life! Just dont buy a clown suit, or wear last weeks garbage. Then you would be a moron. But be who you want to be. Others will follow.

Your not a moron you just need some help go to your favorite store and see what you like then look in magazines and see whats hot this season! Then go buy the clothes you like that are in and that aren't and you just like... so you can have your own style!!

Well, Brenda Song has a dark complection and black hair. She is always wearing deep colors like maroon, purple, and red. She usually wears purple eye shadow.

I pay very little attention to colors. If you like all the colors you're wearing and you feel confident in them, they're just fine!
My mother insists she "can't" wear certain colors... I really think all colors are for everyone. You can certainly have your favorites, of course.
Experiment. One way I expand my color scope is to raid the clearance racks... : -)

i think that on dark skin it looks really good with maroon and aqua
