Legally it is. Wait til the 17 year old is eighteen. Then it's no big deal. Good luck.

No, I dont think that it is too big. Thats only 4 yrs, please. I was with a man who was 14 yrs older. Now that is an age gap. Things didnt work out but we are still really good friends. But like I said 4 yrs is nothing you are still likely to have a lot in common and when your both in your 20's and 30's and so on it will seem even less of a deal. I dont know if someones parents has a problem with the age gap, and Im sorry if they do but that is really nothing to worry about.

Oh, yes. Those two ages are a lot farther apart than you'd think. Most 17 year olds are still in high school. Most 21 year olds are not only of drinking age, but are almost ready to graduate from college. The maturity levels are just totally mismatched, and there are many conflicts of interest.

It really depends on the maturity of the people in the relationship. I dont think it's too big of an age gap.

4 years isnt such a big deal. the only problem is you should check your state's laws on statutory rape. here in missouri 17 and up is legal for sexual relationships, but some states it is 18. not assuming your are going to have sex, just letting you know ahead of time.

maturity wise..yes. I think that a four year age difference is not mad. I mean you have a person who is 51 dating a 16 year. That is an age difference
