So whats everyones fave and worst. One of my fave versions of a song is Bette Midler singing This Ole House, originally sung by Rosemary Clooney, and my worst is Westlife destorying I believe In Angles, originally sung by Abba. In fact anything Westlife sing is bad!

The worst has to be The Fall's murdering of R Dean Taylor's There's a ghost in my house. (Westlife don;t count as they are just a jumped up covers band)
The best cover version has to be Marvin Gaye - I heard it through the grapevine. Originally done by The Miracles, and then by Gladys Knight & The Pips before he did it.

I think Westlife's cover of You Raise Me Up(Josh Groban) and Ronan Keating's cover of Iris(Goo Goo Dolls) were the worst I ever heard.
As for the best covers, I think Guns N' Roses cover of Knocking On Heaven's Door(Bob Dylan), Pink's cover of Me And Bobby Mcgee(Kris Kristofferson), Kelly Clarkson's cover of Cryin'(Aerosmith), Motley Crue's cover of Jailhouse Rock(Elvis Presley) and Eric Clapton's cover of Crossroads(Robert Johnson) are few of the best I heard so far.

the worst has to be that rap band covering more than words ye extreme that was the worst thing i ever heard made me wanna think about killing myself

best is muse covering feeling good originally sung by nina simone or jeff buckley covering cohens hallelujah, and worst would be all saints version of chilis under the bridge or mcfly covering queens dont stop me now...

no the worst one so far is ronan keating Iris which was orginally song by the goo goo dolls!
Ronan slaughtered the song not impressed with him one bit!
