Absolutely. i'm a Daddy everyday, every second.
In the brief one hour I spent with my children prior to going to work....
- Discussed the possibilities of why Ducks say "quack" and Geese say "honk"
- Explained that the frost on the ground from the cold weather overnight isn't snow and why
- Held my sick boy that woke up "rough"....until he was able to feel good again
- Played "The Big Fun Horsey Ride"...whereas I'm the horse, they both get on my back
- Played "Hide-n-Seek"
- Fed, clothed, gave vitamins to both of them
- Parted with kisses/hugs...snuck in a tickle or two
- Waived good-bye to them from my vehicle as they stood in the doorway waiving "Bye Daddy!"
Typical morning.
Love it.

Especially when it comes to child support? Well, I do believe that fathers should pay their child support if they are in that situation- but it would be far better for the kids if Mom and Dad were together and not having to pay child support in the first place. Kids need role models of both sexes actively involved in their lives. And yes, I was a father to my little boy this morning before he headed off to school.

I am a Dad eveyday my kids come first. I just took my kids to school so they would not have to ride the bus & someone is always home when they get out of school & everything we do we make it a family thing.

Sometimes my son calls me daddy. I dont like it, but its ok I guess. Too bad there arent more men like you that care about paying their child support.
