Will that cause me problems? the a/c doesnt work anyway. do i still need to get something done? plz help

Coolant cools the engine, whereas your refridgerant is the gas which lives in your air conditioning system and cools you.

You can get the caddy re-gassed at your local auto shop and they can also run some liquid through which fixes leaky seals.

They need re-gassing every three years or so unless there is a major leak.

Refrigerant is a gas in your a/c system. If it is low your a/c will not reach as low of a temp to cool you.
Coolant is in the radiator and keeps the engine cool. The two are not related.

i have no experience with a 93. I finally just gave up on my A/C in my 1964.

no it's saying your air conditioner is low on freon
other wise it would say low coolant level
