Because the republicans in Congress are evil child molesting perverts who are cheating the eloctorate who have voted for them in good faith.
Republicans in the country tend to be decent hard working, law abiding people. They are too trusting and have been massively lied to and ripped off by their representatives.
The Republicans in the Government are not fit to carry the label Republican. They are as much of a perversion of the Republican movement as Al Queda are a perversion of Islam.
You are right, the perverts in Congress have been sodomizing and torturing children for many many years.
