Is smokeater a fireman or smokes cigarettes? I want to know how you came up with your name

It was an accident really. I had never heard of yahoo answers but something popped up when I was checking my email and I thought why not. I've always been a fan of westerns in particular anything by Clint Easwood and when I looked at the avatars I found I could make a cowboy really easily. It just moved on from there, looked for a better picture to use and uploaded it. I really have nothing in common with cowboys except I drink a lot of Bourbon and did have a pair of cowboy boots when I was younger. I'm UK born and bred, have visited America once(florida) and hated it. Some liken me to a mexican because of my looks so I don't feel guilty using a cowboy avatar.

Actually, I'm a former fireman...smokeater is a generic name for anyone who's served in that position. I'm now a deputy sheriff in SW Ohio.

Mine is actually a nickname given to me at age 5, by our housekeeper she was from St.Kitts and thought i was mean and needed all the help i could get, now thats minus the LLC thats another story.

i also use q&a on another user id which is another variation of my name and a 3 as i have 3 kids.

Went on holiday to Cuba earlier this year and my hubby kept calling me Cubalishus so just thought I would use that as a YA name.

Mine is because I live in Villar del Arzobispo, hence Villar and Queen because I am British, and all the Spanish people ask me if I know or am related to the Queen.

My nickname at school was "gizmo" i.e the mogwai (the original gremlin!!!) - I was adverse to "bright lights" (mornings!!)
As I grew-up the mogwai was fed after midnight on several occassions - hence turning into a gremlin. Also as I grew up being a bad gremlin not a cute mogwai i turned to smoking and when deciding a name for use on the internet the smoking_gremlin was born!!!!!!!
