That and the cost in causaliaties, at it would involve a major war, like the last time. The WMDs there are for real, one must also consider China, Korea's closest and most vunerable neighbor! But he's (Bush) got his panties in a wad on this issue for sure

Yes, but it is more than that. It also has a formidable conventional arsenal and chemical and biological weapons as well as nuclear. That arsenal can strike South Korea within minutes and Japan not long after, with 35% of the NK GDP dedicated to the military, it would hardly be a pushover and perhaps hundreds of thousands in South Korea and Japan would be killed in the process.

China is not backing NK, it is keeping it alive for fear that if it starves it (it supplies oil, food and electricity) the regime will collapse sending millions of needy starving Koreans into China. If NK embarked on a war against the south and Japan then China would probably turn off the oil and hope for a quick western victory.

Ever Bush dare to do that? With all lessons learnt from Iraq? Have America yet forgotten bitter Vietnam lessons?

America is good in threatening smaller weak countries....and try to boast "Super Power'!

No...b/c they have not directly done anything to America thats why we havent messed with them. Their WMD's were weak, they even tested extremely weak for nukes and they even admitted to this after saying it was very successful and powerful, they admitted that it wasnt. We have WMD's as well so why would we quiver at someone else having them?
