I saw on the early show that in Australia,there was a pair of twins born where one was of dark complexion(mother is 1/2 Jamaican) and the other twin was born of light complexion(father is german and mother is 1/2 english)
The doctors said that the odds of this are astronomical.I think it is sooooo cool. What is your take on it?
I think it is the neatest thing ever.

I saw the pictures this morning. Quite fascinating. And they look to be healthy and happy and not at all bad looking (i normally *scream* at the sight of a baby, and the fact that i didn't with these two is a very positive sign). So good for them! I wish them long and happy lives.
But.....someone needs to buy them a set of matching T-Shirts, saying:
"Yes, we really ARE twins!"

its not that weird, cos there was a mother on gmtv this week saying the same thing, and she had bought her twins in... very cutes babes, and 1 was definitely darker than the other... she was nigerian (mixed race), but dont know the fathers background... but yeah, its pretty cool... genetics can be really strange sometimes...

I saw that also. It's not the first time I have seen this on TV. The odds are about 1 in 1,000,000. Our DNA remembers everything!

Wow, I saw it in this morning's news. That is so amazing. Can you imagine all the questions mom and dad are going to get? I think that is so cool. They are gorgeous little baby girls too. That was extremely awesome!

Yes from Qld, weren't they the most healthy, beautiful baby girls ever? Seen the photo in last Sundays paper.

I think that is really cool. They are twins but they have distinctions between them. That makes them their own person but ehy are lucky enough to be a twin.

No I haven`t seen the story......... however I think it is very interesting! The chances of that happening are very odd, however I agree with you very cool.

I was sent the information and photos in email. I thought they were absolutely gorgeous and that the story was phenomenal.
