I don't think anyone would follow me while I'm sitting here at the computer in my own home. The only beings behind me are the cats.

That happened to me twice whilst on "assignment". One of the tails wound up floating face down in the Thames and the other has never been found. It shouldn't have to be said, but I will: it's not wise to behave thusly when you don't know your target very well indeed!
