U.S.A..............The poor and the blue collar people have a pretty miserable life in America.Only because it promised so much and delivered so little.My own country,Ireland, is very similar.The gap between rich and poor is huge.The goverment know that but they're only interested in the wealthy.........they call all the shots!

Actually a very hard question to answer, because whoever is answering is using THEIR perspective (cultural background) to make the determination of what a better life truly equals. You need to first determine what a better life actually equates to for the citizens of the respective area. From a "Westernized" culture perspective (which will be most of the answers) arguments can be made for cultures & areas we don't understand as much -- but again, would be personal opinion.
