Stretch marks are one of the hardest things to get rid of. The older they get the more they start to lose their pinkish color and start to turn a more silver color. There are creams like CoCo Butter creams that you can use to help prevent them and scar faders like Mederma offer a little help, but if the stretch marks are more than a few months old then it is next to impossible to get rid of them without laser treatments. Hope this helps.

stretch marks are actually considered scars, so you need to treat them immediately otherwise there is a chance of them being permanent....i gained 65 pounds with my son, i was only 5 foot tall and 110 pounds before i got pregnant, and my pregnancy weight was all in my belly, so i was huge...he is 4 years old now, and i still have every single stretch mark...i have tried the coco butter, mederma and so on...if you can afford the really really expensive lazer surgery to remove them, then that will be a good way to reduce them...otherwise you are stuck with them...
i refer to them as my "battle scars" from being pregnant...

I have stretch marks too. I've been exfoliating my skin once a week and using suave vitamin e lotion and suave coco butter lotion on them. I slowly rubbing the lotion on them for 5 minutes. Once in the morning and once at night. In the past 4 month they had fade a lot.

unfortunately stretch marks are for life. forget all the miracle lotions and potions they are useless and a waste of money.
although stretchmarks do fade in time they never completely disappear.
